Brasov Bus Information

A one way ticket on the bus costs 1.5lei and must be purchased prior to boarding at one of the small kiosks situated at the main bus stops.

 

Please ensure you stamp your ticket when on board as you are liable for a large fine if  you do not have a ticket or it hasn’t been stamped.

RAT Brasov is the local bus company in Brasov.

Inter City Transport  (Microbuz)

CDY runs mini buses from Brasov to all major cities in Romania. They leave from the bus station beside the train station.

 

The bus to Bucharest leaves every hour and only costs 50 lei  and is a lot quicker than the train. For an extra 20 lei  they will drop you off at the Bucharest  airports.

International Transport

Eurolines is one of the main international bus companies in Romania.

 

They offer coach trips to other Romanian cities but mainly concentrate on international  journeys going into Spain, Italy, UK, Germany.
